Zehra Gökdeniz was born in Istanbul in 1961. She completed her Master′s degree in Turkish Literature at Boğaziçi University. She learned the art of illumination and miniature from Münevver Üçer and received a professional certification. Gökdeniz has participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey. Currently, she works at TRT Istanbul and continues drawing illumination work.
