Assistant Prof. A. Feyza Çakır Özgündoğdu

Feyza Çakır Özgündoğdu was born in Ankara in 1976. In 1998 she graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Ceramics. She continued her studies and finished her MA (2000) and Doctorate (2004) at the same University. Her doctor thesis was on “A Study on the Production of Bone China, the Investigation of its Artistic Applications and the Evaluation of its Aesthetic Qualities”. Her first solo exhibition was held in Samsun Cultural Center in 2005. She has had numerous group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. She wrote many articles on ceramics and has presented many papers and lectures in Turkey and foreign countries. She has won four awards including the Mention Special Prize of Jury at the II. Bienal International Del Mosaico Contemporaneo, Buenos Aires, Argentina (2005) and the prize of Fete-Picasso, Small Art Object I at Vallairus, France (2007). Currently she works at the Hacettepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Ceramics.
