Abdurrahman Antakyalı

Abdurrahman Antakyalı was born in İskenderun in 1968. He graduated from the Department of Journalism and Public Relations in the School of Press and Broadcasting at Gazi University in 1989. In 1990, he started working as a photo journalist in the Anadolu Agency. On behalf of Anadolu Agency, he had followed various events in Turkey and abroad. Between 1999 and 2003, Antakyalı served as a president in the Photojournalists Association of Turkey. He also served as a vice director (2001-2003) and as a director (2003-2010) in the Anadolu Agency, Department of Photograph News. He has received many awards for his photography. Antakyalı currently teaches press photography at the Faculty of Communication of Gazi University. He also works as an editor for the website: www.fotomuhabiri.com, which he founded.
