Agâh Barış Can Aksakal

Agâh Barış Can Aksakal was born in Aydın in 1989. He went to Başak Private School for his primary and secondary education. He studied painting at Yüksel Yalova High School of Fine Arts. In 2009 Aksakal entered the Glass Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Anadolu University. While studying at Anadolu University, he attended many courses not only in Turkey but also the United States. He also worked glass art objects at the Glass Furnace in Istanbul. After graduating from Anadolu University in 2013, Aksakal began working as a research assistant at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Ceramic and Glass Design Department. In 2013 he exhibited his glass work at the Stanislav Libensky Award exhibition and "Glass Unlimited-Made in Istanbul" exhibition. Aksakal currently continues his work at the Tülin Yiğit Akgül Glass Studio & Gallery in Istanbul.
