After graduating from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Mimar Sinan University, Alev Gözonar started her own textile production business and thereon worked in various types of business. During this phase of her life, she was not able to utilize her creativity to its potential. Her work, inspired by a color or a design sometimes an emotion or a personal experience, comes together with the use of diverse materials by mixing synthetic ceramic with plexiglas, metal and wood. The naiveté and the detail of her work comes through geometric forms. Her art is innovative because the viewers find themselves in an interactive relationship with the work. Her unique work is displayed as ´Alevg / ALEV GOZONAR´ at the Nisantasi / Accenturc and the Cukurcuma / D&Art and Design Galleries.
