Ali Demir

Ali Demir was born at the Darsiyak Village of Kayseri in 1931. He has painted in professional sense since 1947. He has focused on painting natural and social structure of Turkey since 1968. The brown color, which symbolizes the Anatolian soil, has been used intensively on his works. Demir has had more than 100 exhibitions both in Turkey and abroad. He has won four different prizes. Currently, Demir continues his work in Istanbul.
