Ali Koçak was born in Tokat in 1954. He completed his primary and secondary education in Sivas. In 1973, he entered the State Academy of Fine Arts but had to leave his academic career during his third year of seniority. After a long period, he started painting as a professional in 1988, having a great support of his brother and well known painter Kasim Koçak. Currently Ali Koçak pursues his artistic experience at his workshop in Kızılağaç, Bodrum. He has had 25 solo exhibitions and participated in 15 group exhibitions. His works can be seen in many private collectors in Turkey and abroad including Germany, France, Finland, the US and Austria.
