Ali Konyalı

Ali Konyalı was born in Istanbul in 1960. He graduated from the Department of Graphic Design in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Mimar Sinan University. As a student, he worked with his father Haluk Doğanbey Konyalı, who was a famous photographer, helping him to photograph cultural aspects of Anatolia. Ali then travelled to the United States to work as a professional photographer. Since 1985, he has taken numerous photographs for exhibition catalogues, books and various cultural projects. He has also had his own exhibitions and talks on photography. Konyalı has received many awards for his photography works. Currently, he lives and works in Istanbul.
