Alp Tamer Ulukılıç was born in Bitlis in 1957. He graduated from the Department of Painting at the Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts. He continued his master’s degree at the same institution between 1980 and 1983. He has had over 18 solo exhibitions. As of today, Ulukılıç continues to work at his workshop in Istanbul. His works can be seen in the collection of the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Izmir State and Sculpture Museum and the British Petroleum building in Brussels, and in many private collections in Turkey and abroad.
