Alper Aydın was born in Ordu in 1989. After graduating from Ordu Anadolu High School of Fine Arts in 2007, he entered the Department of Painting-Teaching at Gazi University. In 2009 he also joined classes of science illustration, which were given by Gülnur Ekşi and Serkan Çıtak, at the Biology Department of Ankara University. In 2010-2011 Aydın went to Italy to study at Accademia di Bella Arti Macerata with an Erasmus program. After graduating from Gazi University, he continued his Master′s degree in sculpture at Hacettepe University in 2011-2012, but he completed his Master′s degree in Painting at the Painting Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts of Gazi University in 2014. Aydın currently pursues his doctoral degree, proficiency in Arts, at the Sculpture Department of Hacettepe University. He has participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey. Aydın is a founder member of the Pelesiyer Project, which held it′s first exhibition in 2013.
