Alpin Arda Bağcık was born in Aydın in 1988. He graduated from the Painting Department at Dokuz Eylül University in 2007. Bağcık has participated in various group exhibitions such as "Young Fresh Different-3" (Galeri Zilberman, 2015), "Rotary Art Competition" (Proje 4L, Istanbul, 2015), "Borders Orbits" (Siemens Sanat, Istanbul, 2013) and "Violence(?)"(Rethymnon.Contemporary Art Museum, Crete, 2013). He held a solo presentation in the new proposals section at the Zona Maco fair, curated by Mirjam Varadinis in New Mexico in 2014. In 2016, Bağcık will present his solo exhibition at the Volta 12 art fair, held in Basel, with Gallery Zilberman. Some of his works can be seen in private collections in Middle East, Europe and North and South America. Bağcık currently continues his work in Izmir.
