Arda Yalkın was born in Ankara in 1974. After graduating from the Tourism Department at Eskisehir Anadolu University, he studied Archaeology and Restoration at Ankara University. In the early 1980′s, his interest in computers and electronics caused him to experiment with all aspects of digital sound and image production. He has produced commercials for international brands and video performances, in addition to his videos and visuals for well-known artists. Currently, Yalkın continues producing 2D and 3D animations, stop-motion, synthesized sounds and images, live video performances using photography, video and interactive media at his studio in Istanbul.
