Aysel Alver was born in Sivas in 1982. She graduated from the Sculpture Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Hacettepe University in 2008. She continued her study in sculpture, and completed her master′s degree at her alma mater in 2011 and doctoral degree in proficiency in Arts at the Painting Department in the Graduate School of Fine Arts at Gazi University in 2012. She has had several solo exhibitions, and participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. Currently, Alver serves as a lecturer at the Department of Industrial Design in the Vocational School of Hacettepe University.
