Bahattin Odabaşı

Bahattin Odabaşı was born in Sivas in 1947. He graduated from the Painting-Work Department at Marmara University in 1970. He participated in many painting competitions and received awards. He taught painting at various institutions. In 1972 Odabaşı held his first solo exhibition in Ankara. Since then he has held many solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions. Odabaşı taught painting at the Atatürk Faculty of Education at Marmara University until 2006. He continues painting at his workshop in Istanbul. He also teaches painting at Istanbul Arel University.
