Bedia Dipşo was born in Düzce in 1956. She studied art in Ankara. After moving to Istanbul, she continued her art education in various artists′ studios including Esat Tekand’s workshop. Dipşo had her first solo exhibition in 2002 and has also had six solo exhibitions. She has participated in numerous art fairs and group exhibitions in Turkey. As of today, Dipşo continues to work in Istanbul and Bodrum. Departing from concepts such as light, space, rhythm, movement, emptiness, fullness, she forms her works with calligraphic symbols.
