Burçin Başar was born in Istanbul in 1984. She graduated from the Painting Department in the Faculty of Fine Art at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in 2010. In 2007-2008, she studied at the National Academy of Art in Sofia as a member of student exchange program. She has participated in many competitions and group exhibitions. Başar currently lives and works in Istanbul.
