Burhan Temel

Burhan Temel was born in Görele in 1935. He graduated from the Painting Department at the Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts in 1959. In the same year, he attended an International Biennial in Paris as one of the representatives of Turkey. Temel has had over 25 solo exhibitions, and participated in numerous group exhibitions. He has received various awards for his works. He taught painting over 30 years, and retired in 1990. Currently, Temel continues painting in Görele and Istanbul.
