Caner Şengünalp

Caner Şengünalp was born in Bursa in 1984. He graduated from the Sculpture Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Kocaeli University in 2009. In the same year, he continued his Master’s degree at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Marmara University. From 2010 to 2011, Şengünalp worked as a guest lecturer at Kocaeli University. Since 2007, he has participated in many symposiums and group exhibitions. In 2008, Şengünalp received the third prize in the Ankara Law Society, Painting and Sculpture Competition; and an exhibition prize in the 69th State Painting and Sculpture competition. He also won an exhibition prize in the 70th State Painting and Sculpture competition. In 2011, he was awarded the first prize in the Kalibre Boru Sculpture competition in Izmit; and mention award in the “Aslı ile Kerem Sculpture competition” in Kayseri, 2012.
