Cengiz Üstün

Cengiz Üstün was born in Istanbul in 1972. He graduated from the Graphic Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Mimar Sinan University in 1996. He first published his caricatures in magazines such as Çarşaf and Horoz. He became known as a caricaturist for his works, published in magazines including Pişmiş Kelle and Avni ve Dıgıl. Among  his best known works are "Kunteper Canavarı," published in L-Manyak and then in Lombak, "Üzeyir," and "Macerayı Seven Adam," published in Lombak, Penguen and Kemik. Üstün drew caricatures for Fermuar magazine, which was published in 2006 by his brother and caricaturist Bülent Üstün. Cengiz has published several books including "Duka film," "Kunteper Canavari," "Kaptan Onedin," and "Tribal Enfeksiyon." He currently continues drawing caricatures for Uykusuz magazine.
