Deniz Toraman was born in Istanbul. She graduated from St. Gerorg Austria High School for Girls. In 1996, she started making ceramic with İnsel İnal. Toraman founded her own workshop and has made many ceramic objects. She is a member of Turkish Ceramic Assocation and Bodrum Art Society.
