Elçin Ekinci was born in İskenderum in 1980. After finishing at the Department of Ready-to-wear in the Faculty of Technical Education at Marmara University in 2000, she graduated from the Department of Composite Arts in the Faculty of Art and Design of Yıldız Technical University in 2004. In 2007, she went to Italy and studied at Academia di Belle Arti L′Aquila with a high scholarship, which was granted by European Commission. In 2008, Ekinci completed her master′s degree at the Sculpture Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Marmara University. Ekinci has had several solo exhibitions and participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey and Italy. Currently, she continues her work in Istanbul.
