Ersan Deveci was born in Denizli in 1969. He was on active duty in the Turkish Military Forces in 1987-2009. Deveci always had a close relationship with art during his career in the military. He entered the Painting Department in the Faculty of Fine Art at Dokuz Eylül University before retiring from the military. After graduating from the Painting Department in 2004, he pursues his Master′s degree in the same university. Deveci has participated in many group exhibitions, including "Deneyimin Ötesi" (Beyond Experience) at the Pera Museum. In 2012 Deveci had his first solo exhibition "Çocuk Oyuncağı" (Child’s Play) at the Dirimart Gallery in Istanbul. In 2014 he had his second solo exhibition "Kutsal Makine" at the Merkur Gallery in Istanbul. Deveci currently continues his work in Izmir.
