Ertuğ Atlı was born in Şanlıurfa in 1958. He graduated from the Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts in 1985. He has participated in many art festivals and exhibitions. He has also had his solo exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. Atlı made sculptures in several places in Anatolia. In 2002, he continued his study and received a master’s degree at Mimar Sinan University. As of today, Atlı serves as a teacher at the Department of Art in the Faculty of Art and Design of Yıldız Technical University. At the same time, he continues to work at his workshop. Atlı has served as a director of the Sculptor Association since 1998.
