Esra Şatıroğlu was born in Istanbul in 1981. She graduated from the Department of Ceramic and Glass in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in 2004, and completed her master′s degree at the Department of Plastic Art in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Yeditepe University in 2011. She was one of the 10 finalists in the "Young Artist of the Year 2009" competition, which was organized by the Rh+ art magazine in 2010. Şatıroğlu has participated in many group exhibitions and fairs in Turkey and abroad. Currently, she continues her work in Istanbul.
