Fatma Tülin Öztürk was born in Istanbul in 1950. She started painting in her childhood. She took painting classes from Özer Kabaş in 1971.Tülin Öztürk studied at the Department of Language and Literature of Boğaziçi University. In 1974, she was awarded a prize in the State Exhibition of Painting and Sculpture. She had her first solo exhibition at the Melda Kaptana Art Gallery in Istanbul in 1975. After her graduation in 1976, she went to England to study painting by means of a British Council scholarship. She participated in the Alexandria Biennial in 1977. Since 1975, Tülin Öztürk has had over 20 solo exhibitions and participated in more than 50 group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. Her works can be seen in national and international important private collections.
