Feryal Taneri

Feryal Taneri was born in Zonguldak in 1952. She entered Istanbul Academy of Fine Arts and studied painting with Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu. After graduating from the Sculpture Department in the Atatürk Faculty of Education at Marmara University, she studied printing with Prof. Dr. Bünyamin Özgültekin and painting with Prof. Ramiz Aydın; and completed her master′s degree in painting at her alma mater. Taneri has held more than 35 solo exhibitions and participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. She has also organized and attended national and international art symposiums. Her works can be seen in public and private collections in the world. She has received many awards for her works.

Taneri has served as a member of selection committee and jury member  for various art competitions in Turkey and abroad. She is a board member of Association of Fine Arts, Painting Society, GESAM, UNESCO AIAP Turkish National Committee, and UPSD. She currently lives and works in Istanbul.
