Gözde Başkent

Gözde Başkent was born in Ankara in 1982. She graduated from the Painting Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in 2007. Between 2008 and 2009, she studied as an Erasmus student at Bolognia Fine Arts Academy. In 2010, she completed her master′s degree at her alma mater. Currently, she continues painting in Istanbul. In 2012, she has her exhibition "A Room of One′s Own" with Hatice Karadağ at the Daire Gallery in Istanbul.
