Assistant Prof. Yunus Güneş

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yunus Güneş was born in 1950. He studied and taught at the Istanbul Institute of Education Art Department. He obtained his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Marmara University as well as a diploma of proficiency in art. After 25 years of teaching and creating art, he retired with the title of Assistant Professor from the Fine Arts Department of Marmara University, Atatürk Faculty of Education, and began to work as a freelance artist. He then made a short trip to England for further research and reconnaissance. He held over 10 solo exhibitions and participated in many group exhibitions. Güneş gained three international awards in the ex libris field. He currently continues his work in Istanbul and Izmit.
