Art Profile	:	Gülden Artun was born in Ankara in 1953. She studied German Studies at Hacettepe University in 1971-1975. From 1977 to 1983, she pursued her Master′s degree in Painting with Prof. Marwan at the Hochschule der Künste Berlin. Artun received a fellowship from the Academy of Arts in 1981 and a working grant from the Senator for Cultural Affairs Berlin in 1990. She has held many solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions in Turkey and Germany. Artun currently continues her work in Emsdetten and Izmir.
