Gülercan Hacıoğlu

Gülercan Hacıoğlu was born in Bulgaria in 1960. After studying at Plovdiv Fine Arts High School in 1975-1980, she graduated from the National Academy of Art in Sofia in 1989. Hacıoğlu completed her master′s degree at Prof. Neş′e Erdok′s workshop in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in Istanbul in 1997. She has received several awards including a mention award in the I.M.K.B. 10th Anniversary Painting Competition (1996) and the first award in the Tekel Painting Competition (1997). She has held several solo exhibitions and participated in group  exhibitions in Istanbul. Hacıoğlu currently lives and works in Istanbul.
