Gülfidan Özmen was born in Istanbul in 1978. After graduating from the Department of Ceramic and Glass Design at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in 2000, she completed her master’s degree at her alma mater in 2010. She has attended many classes, seminars, symposiums, and workshops on glass works in Turkey and abroad. As a glass designer and advisor, she has worked with various companies. Between 2008 and 2011, Özmen taught at her alma mater. She has had three solo exhibitions and has participated in many national and international group exhibitions. Her glass works can be seen in many public and private collections in Turkey and Ukraine. Currently, Özmen lives and works in Istanbul.
