Güneri İçoğlu was born in Sivas in 1965. He started drawing caricature in his childhood. He graduated from the Theater Department in the Faculty of Stage and Visual Arts at Istanbul Academy of Fine Arts. He then continued his master’s degree at the Department of Art History in the Faculty of Social Sciences of Istanbul Technical University.
İçoğlu published his first caricature “çiçeği burnunda” in Gırgır magazine. He then drew in Fırt, Limon and Leman magazines. Besides caricature, İçoğlu writes humorous stories in many newspaper columns such as "Gönül Adamı" and "Dumur Detayları". He has published 9 caricature books. Currently, İçoğlu continues to draw caricature in Leman magazine.
