Hakan Daloğlu

Hakan Daloğlu was born in Ankara in 1971. He graduated from the Painting Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Hacettepe University in 1994. He completed his master′s degree at his alma mater in 1997. In the following year, he went to New York and studied academic intensive English and American short story at Marymount College in Westchesther, Tarrytown. He then painted in New York, reserching violence images in painting at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, MOMA, Guggenheim, and Whitney American Museum. In 2003, Daloğlu completed his doctoral degree, proficiency in Arts, with Prof. Devrim Erbil at Mimar Sinan University. He has had solo exhibitions and participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey and the US. Since 2004, Daloğlu has taught at Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University.
