Hakan Kürklü was born in Mersin in 1958. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Mimar Sinan University in 1985. After working in the Industrial Design Department of Arçelik for fifteen years, he became a graphic designer and photographer. Kürklü has had several solo exhibitions such as “İstanbul’da Direnen Kapı ve Pencereler” (2004), “Telvenin İzinde Kahvehaneler” (2005), “Renkistanbul” (2006) and “Yüzler ve Öyküler” (2008). He has also participated in few group exhibitions including “İDGSA80’s”, “Art Contemporain” and “Konu: Su”. He attended “LuxARTist” in Luxembourg. As of today, Kürklü continues his work as a freelance.
