Hakan Özer

Hakan Özer was born in Trabzon in 1967. After graduating from the Painting Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Marmara University in 1992, he completed his master′s degree in 1995 and doctoral degree, proficiency in arts in 2011 at Marmara University. In 1997 Özer began teaching as a research assistant at the Department of Plastic Arts in the Faculty of Fine Arts of Yeditepe University. He worked there as a tutor in 2001-2012. Since 2012 Özer has taught as an Assistant Professor at the same university. He has held several solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions.
