Hakkı Kandır was born in Çorum in 1978. He graduated from the Sculpture Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Mersin University in 2004. The next year, he worked at the workshop of Remzi Cırık who serves as a sculptor at the Ankara State Opera and Ballet. In 2007, Kandır worked at a plastic art workshop owned by the Ankara State Theater. Currently, he works at the Samsun State Opera and Ballet. Kandır has participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey.
