Hayal Pozantı

Hayal Pozantı was born in Istanbul in 1983. After finishing primary school in the USA, she continued her education at Robert College in Istanbul. She graduated from the Department of Visual Arts and Visual Communication Design at Sabancı University.  After working in the creative departments of several famous brands, she works as a creative director at Bant magazine. In 2005 she participated in a group exhibition at İttihad Sigorta Gallery on the occasion of  the 9th International Istanbul Biennial. In 2009 Pozantı had her solo exhibition at the Sontoz Gallery in New York. In the same year she also participated in a group exhibition in Kasa Gallery in Istanbul. Her works will be exhibited in the "Seriously Ironic: Positions in Turkish Contemporary Art" at the Centre Pasquart Forum d′Art Contemporain in Biel, Switzerland. Currently Pozantı continues her Master’s degree on painting and printmaking at Yale University.
