Assoc. Prof. Hayati Misman

Assoc. Prof. Hayati Misman was born in Konya in 1945. He graduated from the Painting and Handicrafts Department of Gazi Education Institute in 1968. He passed the examination, which was arranged by the Turkish Ministry of Education in 1970, and went to Europe to study painting. In 1975, he graduated from the Kassel Academy of Fine Arts, where he specialized in the field of graphic design. After returning back to Turkey in the same year, Misman began working at the Painting and Handicrafts Department of the Gazi Education Institute. He completed his doctoral degree proficiency in arts, at his alma mater in 1984. He received a title of Associate Professor in 1987. Misman has had many solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. His works can be seen in many public and private collections. He has received many awards. Currently, Misman is a faculty member in the Department of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture at Bilkent University.
