Ufuk Uyanık was born in Ankara in 1963. His first cartoon was published in a sport magazine “Hayat Spor” in 1977. In 1980, he entered the Faculty of Agriculture at Ankara University, but still pursued drawing cartoons, and moved to Istanbul. In 1983, he started working at the comic’s magazine “Gırgır”. In 1988, he moved to England and settled in London. His first cartoon was published in a top shelf magazine in England in 1989. Since then, his cartoons have been published not only in magazines, but in greeting cards, calendars, and pillow covers in more than 23 countries. His comic book “Viagraman” was published in England, Turkey, Greece, Holland, Denmark, Portugal, Spain, Germany and USA.
