İmren Çalışkan Tüzün was born in Demre in 1963. She graduated from the Department of Tourism Management at Akdeniz University. In 1991, she pursued her painting study at the Kaleiçi Art house and the Muhittin Selamet Studio. Since 1996, Tüzün has continued her painting independently. She has worked at her own studio since 2001. Tüzün has had several solo exhibitions and has participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. She participated in the First Antalya Painting Festival as a member of the Organization Committee, a member of the International Association of Art in Turkey, and a member of the Antalya Artist Association. In 2008, Tüzün organized the Young Artist Exhibition in Turkey, which was related to International Paint Pals in Atlanta. Besides doing paintings, she has shot several short films and videos. She is an organization member of the Antalya Lemon Short Film Days. Her writing and interviews on literature have been published in many literary magazines. Currently, Tüzün continues to work in Antalya.
