Erinç Seymen was born in Istanbul in 1980. He graduated from the Faculty of Arts at Mimar Sinan University in 1999. He completed his master’s degree at the Faculty of Art and Design of Yıldız Technical University in 2006. His works are avowedly political, focusing in particular on the issues of national identity and the status of homosexuals. He has had several solo exhibitions and has participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. Currently, Seymen continues his work in Istanbul.
