Handan Börüteçene

Handan Börüteçene was born in Istanbul in 1957. After graduating from the Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts, she went to Paris to pursue her study at Ecole Nationale Superieuere des Beaux Arts, Paris. Since 1987 Börüteçene has held many solo exhibitions and participated in many international group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. In 2014 she held her solo exhibition "Kendime Gömülü Kaldım" at the Archaeology Museum in Istanbul. Börüteçene currently lives and works in Istanbul and Paris.
