Kemal Uludağ was born in Konya in 1966. He graduated from the Ceramic Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Hacettepe University in 1987. He completed his master’s degree at his alma mater (1990) and doctoral degree with a proficiency in arts at the Institute of Social Sciences of Anadolu University (1994). Since 1994, Uludağ has been teaching as an assistant professor at Anadolu University. He has had 11 solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions and symposiums in Turkey and abroad. His ceramic works can be seen in public and private collections in Turkey and foreign countries, such as the collection of the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the collection of Turkish Embassy in Paris, the collection of Çanakkale Ceramic Museum and Devrim Erbil Contemporary Art Museum. Uludağ is the member of UNESCO-AIAP International Plastic Arts Association, and of Turkish Ceramic Society. He is the director of the art commission of Turkish Ceramic Society.
