Lale Çavuldur was born in Adana in 1962. She was educated at Lycée de Galatasaray (1974-1981). Between 1983 and 1986, she studied at Adnan Çoker Workshop in the Department of Painting, Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. In 1987-1988, she went to Karlsruhe State Fine Arts Academy and joined Isolde Wawrin’s Project Group. In 1989-1990, she continued her study there, at the Department of Sculpture, Werner Pokorny Workshop. In 1990, she graduated from Karlsruhe State Fine Arts Academy, Department of Graphic-Painting. Between 1994 and 1996, she attended Master’s Program in the Academy of Visual Arts, Leipzig and studied at the workshop of Professor H.Gille Jochen Gerz. Lale Çavuldur started work as a lecturer at the Anadolu University in Eskişehir, in September 2005. Since September 2007, she has been working as a lecturer at the Işık University.
