Lale Delibaş

Lale Delibaş was born in Istanbul in 1973. In 2006, she graduated from the Painting Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Marmara University. In 2009, she completed her master’s degree at her alma mater. Her first solo exhibition “Lamekân” was held at the Istanbul Mac Art Gallery in 2008.  Delibaş was among 13 scholarship artists who were hosted at the Istanbul Art Center by the Borusan Culture and Art between 2008 and 2009. Her works were exhibited in the “Mind Models: The First Show”, which was the opening exhibition of Borusan Music House (curated by Necmi Sönmez. In 2009, Delibaş represented Turkey at the International Mardin Contemporary Art Biennial. In 2010, she exhibited her works at an exhibition, which was held by UNESCO in Paris. In the same year, she had her solo exhibition “Beyaz Resimler” at Ankara Gallery Nev. Currently, Delibaş continues her work in Istanbul.
