Leyla Sabah studied painting in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Mimar Sinan University between 1994 and 1998. From 1992 to 2002, she had many workshops at the Mutlu Art Gallery in Istanbul. Since 1993, in order to research different cultures and arts, she has visited many countries such as Greece, Spain, India, Hungary, Azerbaijan, Czech Republic, Sweden, Poland, Germany, France, England, China, Italy, Bulgaria, Bosnia Herzegovina, Croatia, Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay. In 2005, she participated in Hefei Contemporary Art Symposium in China. Sabah has had over 40 solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad including Berlin, Prague and Buenos Aires. She is a member of I.A.A. UNESCO (International Association of Art). Currently Sabah continues to work at her workshops in Turkey and England.
