Melike Uçku was born in Istanbul. After graduating from the Faculty of Business Management at Anadolu University, she completed Master′s degree in Plastic Arts at Yeditepe University as a high honor student in 2011. Since 2014 she has pursued her doctoral degree, proficiency in art, at the Social Sciences Institute of Yeditepe University. Uçku held a solo exhibition in 2011 and has participated in many group exhibitions and auction exhibitions in Istanbul. She received the “Young Painter of the Year" award in a competition exhibition from RH Art Magazine. Uçku currently continues to work at her own workshop in Istanbul.
