Memiş Aslan

Memiş Aslan was born in Isparta in 1949. He studied painting at the Istanbul State Academy of Fine Art between 1969 and 1974. He obtained master’s degree on fresco and scraffito in the same academy. He had his first solo exhibitions in the Darüşşafaka Art gallery in 1973. After he retired from teaching at school, Aslan has continued his work in Istanbul. He has had many solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions in Turkey.
