Mümin Candaş

Mümin Candaş was born in Trabzon, Beşikdüzü in 1971. He graduated from the Painting-Working Teaching Department in the Faculty of Education at Karadeniz Technical University in 1995. He then taught painting in Hatay and Istanbul. In 2000 Candaş completed his master′s degree in Visual Arts at Istanbul Technical University. Candaş has held solo exhibition and participated in over 42 group exhibitions in Turkey. Since 2002 he has taught painting at Açaabat High School for Fine Arts. He currently continues painting at his workshop. Candaş is a representative of the Sesan Trabzon and an executive board member of the Black Sea Plastic Arts Foundation.
