Mustafa Kemal Yurttaş was born in Antalya in 1978. After graduating from the Architecture Department at Istanbul Technical University in 2001, he completed his master′s degree at his alma mater in 2003. Since 2011 he has pursued his doctoral degree in body technologies at Yıldız Technical University.
In 2012 Yurttaş was accepted in the Fine Art Program at Central Saint Martins, the University of the Arts London for his master′s degree. He has participated in many international exhibitions and festivals on photography, video, performance, and spatial intervention. From 2003 to 2011 Yurttaş lived in Istanbul, Milano and Antalya. He currently lives and works in Istanbul.
